Neyer Project Certified Green
By Laura Baverman
Neyer Properties' Red Bank Crossing II office building in Madisonville has achieved the U. S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy & Enviromental Design certification.
The council rates buildings based on energy efficiency, indoor air quality, water savings and construction waste reduction.
Neyer achieved the eco-friendly certification by building on a brownfield, installing high-effeciency windows and low-flow faucets and fixtures, and using materials with low volatile organic compounds.
The facility will soon house a Christ Hospital imaging center.
